Thank you one and all
Just wanted to thank you all - heres a copy of my blog from my profile........
Its been one year

OMG I can not believe it has been one year since I had my surgery. what a fantastic year it has been. I am down 145 lbs and loving life more and more each day. I can now cross my legs, walk mostly pain free, fit into NORMAL size clothes, fit in any booth in any restaurant, fly on a plane without a seat belt extension (hopefully - will find out for sure on Monday when I leave for Vegas baby).
I just have to say this has been the most amazing journey and basically has been very easy for me. I think when you are so mentally ready, like I was, it makes the transition to a new lifestyle much easier. I am not yet at my goal but its not to far away. At least I am below 200 lbs and that was my main goal......but I would like to lose about another 35 lbs.....sure doesn't seem like much when I realize I have already gotten rid of 145 lbs.
I have met so many amazing people here - I just want to thank a few personally - My awesome angels, Shelley and Patty - I can not thank you enough for being there for me a year ago. Patty I don't see you much but think of you often. Shelley - I thank god all the tie that I met you and we have become such good friends. Monica P you are the bomb and I truly consider you a friend for life. Also Lori C - you are amazing....I love the time we spend together, at coffees, lunches, kayaking whatever you are one beautiful lady. Diane C - you are a kick in the ass.....thank you for being such a great secret pal and meeting you in person was just the icing on the cake....I cant wait to meet up with you and Lisa (so I can finally meet her in person)....Willa - I love you girl and wish you all the best in the world....Ms Shell - you da bomb girl and I love ya...Melody Rose keep on hanging in there girl....maybe someday you will actually get to talk to that person at Starbucks. Janine - You too are one awesome lady and such an inspiration to so many. I look forward every day to your morning updates.
There are so many more - you know who you are.....to all my LB coffee buddies (yes that includes you Naomi) I couldn't have gotten through this year with out all of you.
Julia and Linda - you guys are gonna do great on this wild ride. I love you both.
So for me thats about it. I just want to say that I thank god every day that I have been so lucky through all of this...no pain, no problems, no complications just a really smooth ride. I know I am one of the lucky ones. My best advice to newbies and those considering surgery....follow your Drs protocols to a tee and do what he/she says. I think thats why I did so well. Also a positive attitude and being mentally ready to really change your life is a key.
Thank you everyone for all of your support, encouragement, inspiration and compliments. There are no words that can express how much I appreciate ALL OF YOU.
Lots of love and Hugs......
